Film and Motion Graphics Designer

Craig Miranda (Miranda Design's Principal) considers motion graphics to be "design on a timeline". The key factor in a motion graphics piece is communication — the element of time allows communication to have a sequential aspect.

Craig's work in motion graphics includes film and video editing, title sequences, animation, as well as scripting, directing and sound design. The tools he uses are After Effects, Final Cut HD, Maya, Logic, Reason, Peak, Live, DVD Studio Pro and others.

Studio Approach to Film and Motion Graphics

Our approach to Film and Motion Graphics starts with developing a communication strategy and then moves to scripting and story boarding. Our key goal is to get the communication and feel of a piece right — and make it memorable and powerful.
